Store Policies

Shipping and Handling
All orders are shipped UPS Ground Service and/or USPS Priority Mail to the US only, unless otherwise specified. For rush, express priority, special handling and holiday cutoff times please call customer service at 1-866-225-7474 Tuesday – Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. EST and Saturdays 11:00 a.m. – 3 p.m. EST. (Shipments to AK, HI, U.S. Territories and APO/FPO may require additional time.)

Gifts from Registries
Unless otherwise specified by the registrants, the gifts will be received in the form of a store credit. Most registered couples appreciate this feature as they have the opportunity to allocate funds where they are otherwise needed or adjust matching sets accordingly. Sometimes gift givers or the couples themselves would like to receive gifts as they are purchased and we certainly offer that option when specified. Please note that some items may have to be special ordered and may have a longer delivery turn around. For your convenience, gifts that are purchased online will show up in a "Thank You Note Check List" so that you can keep track of what was bought and by whom. When you are ready to redeem your credit, L.V. Harkness offers a 15% discount for items on the registry of the new couples for six months after their wedding date.

Merchandise Availability

In-stock merchandise will be shipped within three business days. Much of our merchandise is hand-crafted and custom-made to our exacting standards, and thus orders may take longer than anticipated. Should a delay occur, you will be notified immediately. We assure you your patience will be rewarded.

The L.V. Harkness Guarantee

If your order fails to meet your expectations for any reason, please return the merchandise, excluding personalized items and consumables, within 14 days of purchase for exchange. Merchandise must be in unused condition, in the original gift box, and accompanied by a copy of sales or gift receipt. Please contact us for further instructions.


Shipping Errors and Damages

Please call customer service immediately at 1-866-225-7474 or contact us if your order arrived damaged or if a packing error occurred. Make sure to save the original shipping box and packing materials in which your purchase arrived. If the package looks damaged, do not accept delivery.


Customization

Personalize your items or gifts from L.V. Harkness with custom engraving, glass etching, leather embossing, stationery printing, hand painting, sublimation and monogramming services. Company logos, monograms/initials, personal sentiment – all created especially for you. Professional artisans and designers are on-site to direct you in your personalization decisions. Please call customer service at 1-866-225-7474 or contact us for all questions. PLEASE NOTE: Merchandise that is personalized may not be returned.


Gifts

We will ship your gift/gifts directly to the recipient with a gift message enclosed and complimentary gift wrap.


Errors

We make every effort to ensure customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, mistakes and typographical errors do occur. We reserve the right to correct these errors and apologize for any inconvenience.
