Each cup is made with over 100 grams of hand-spun .925 silver (approximately twice the weight of most cups made today). The lip is rolled, and it is also soldered (although soldering is a requirement for cups sold in Europe-for sanitary purposes-almost no cups made in the US today have a soldered lip). The entire cup is dipped in .999 fine silver for extra shine, then polished to a mirror finish, even inside. The elegant feather handle is hallmarked "Grainger".
